Narrated by youth, this video presents scenarios that illustrate what students can do to intervene safely when they see bullying happen. Questions are posed after each vignette prompting students to explore their role as a bystander in a bullying situation, strategies for working together to stand up for someone who is being bullied, how to help someone walk away from being bullied, and why and how to tell an adult when bullying happens. This video was made by teens for teens to illuminate the connection between bullying and school violence. Teens talk about the causes and consequences of bullying, emphasizing the need for all students to feel connected at school, especially with their peers. The accompanying Teacher's Resource Book includes reproducible pre- and post-tests, activities, worksheets, and fact sheets. The activities include guidance for students to set up a school-wide bullying/violence prevention program and writing assignments to encourage self-reflection and reinforce concepts introduced in the video.
